It’s one of the absolute best. There’s very few authors going with the concept of gender-bending more than one character at once and it often works out a lot more heartfelt than the bulk of the genre, which of course is usually shortcutting to “great, now it’s okay to want to kiss my best friend” or “now the wish fulfillment is out of the way here’s some slice of life” rather than keeping its genders especially bendered as an ongoing plot point
