it’s a forthcoming fps by ex-DICE devs. made a very nice first impression this afternoon when i played a little. i am very bad at this video game

👀 i'm def gonna try it once it's actually out, but for a free game i don't know if i care enough to do a beta that sounds like it's moderately buggy still
it’s not a huge install fwiw, and while the console versions sound like they’re rough rn, i’ve had a good time with the pc version so far.
i did have one weird issue right after install where the game got stuck in a menu loop on first boot up because i’d created an account ahead of time instead of letting the game create it on first boot up? but there is a work around and after i did that everything’s been really smooth

the beta lasts until the 5th apparently so you’ve got pleeeeenty of time

I can’t tell if this game wants me to be extremely aggressive or extremely tactical. Fun though
a bit of both, i think? i have has more fun in unranked tournament matches so far than either quick play mode. bank it and quick cash are Fine, but the more limited respawns in tournament felt like it encouraged a better balance of those two things
I only tried quick play so far. I also kept getting matched as a duo against teams of three!
i got like three join-in-progress matches in a row on stream earlier and two of them lasted less than a minute lol. not sure if buggy matchmaking or player pop issue or what
