i want to make a version of this but it's the dracula flow guy in the middle
i remain mystified at the level of praise this game has gotten. it’s not bad but i really haven’t fallen in love with it either. the color palette stays almost entirely this mix of grey, red and brown for 40-50ish hours. the combat is serviceable but nothing special. the character building and weapon leveling is all the “thing X gets 2% stronger” type of unsatisfying tiny incremental upgrade……..
but all that said there’s some really creative boss fights and it’s very pretty in its grey/red/brown way. i wouldn’t have stuck with it at all playing solo but it’s been a nice mostly chill thing to play with another person. maybe that’s where the high praise is coming from idk
uncertain whether we will do the dlc or move on after one more fight…
