a friend who's visiting put me onto this app for finding hiking trails and such near you (or near a different location, you know how apps work, you're an adult), but they have a monthly subscription if you want to download the maps to use offline, which is less than ideal
so instead whenever we're on a trail that's not marked well and we need to make a decision we open up pokemon go and use that, because it turns out lots of those trails are mapped out perfectly well in there
