i (like many others i know) cant/wont use steam due to personal convictions against the way they usually sell games with DRM prepackaged so that you can only technically rent games indefinitely. its just a huge liability to have my games library somewhere where it is likely to be spontaneously taken from me, much like amazon prime video ;-;
