so last March i met a young woman at a party and noticed that a guy she was there with seemed really into her. i happened to run into her again just casually a few weeks later so on a whim i brought it up to her, and asked if there was indeed any chemistry there? "Oh yeah," she told me, "I've been wanting to date this guy for months! But I'm just not sure if he really likes me that much." so of course, i shared my observations and encouraged her to go for it and ask him out.
well, fast forward to tonight and i'm at another party, and lo and behold, there's this woman there again! so i strike up a conversation and of course i can't help but ask: so whatever happened with you and that guy?
and dear reader, she beems me the biggest smile and tells me that they are having their six-month anniversary this very weekend :')
