coming up with names/titles is the hardest part
(I'm 100% sure someone has observed this before)
this post brought to you by me having just come up with some titles I'm feeling pretty good about, or at least like I can live with, and can therefore stop referring to my work as "that thing that might be a book that I've been working on for almost a decade"
I go through so many WIP titles that I genuinely started putting them in a file for prosterity
I'm coming up to the third and -hopefully- final draft of my first novel and I really want to talk about it but I have no idea what it's going to be called. I started with quite a serviceable title that isn't quite a fit for the story, now I'm going through some options that don't sound quite as good but might be a better fit for the style of story it is. Really tricky.
Meanwhile in my codebase the naming scheme is all over the place and I really hope that I can turn this into a viable business so I can pay someone else to fix it.
