here's my entry for compost #4! this is what i think it would sound like if a cat were having a leisurely bake in the kitchen on a sunday morning
usually when i write microtonal music i go for a more ethereal feeling, but i thought a mode of the melodic minor scale could sound kinda cheerful and bouncy

there's something about 31-EDO that just sounds delightfully analog, fuzzy, bright like the buzzing of bees, and this vibe is great

31's a great pick. this is put together in such a way that the tuning is like some cool sprinkles on top rather than the main course, like it's mostly "in a 12edo way" u kno. that's one of my favorite ways to do microtonal... extra color on top of relative familiarity. anyway, i love the chilled out vibe, warm synths, great melody! it's kind of an earworm lol, it will probably reappear in a week or so and i'll be like "hmm what is this. OH"
