it was a bit cooler today, and overcast.

a strip of varied terrain, some meadow, some trees, some bushes. quite lush and green looking.

boys who are cows. Ryuk standing in the front, Little One grazing in the back.

the weather was ideal for garden work, which would be hard to do on hot days otherwise. I started digging the second veggie bed. I got about a third of it done today.

a view of my garden, the start of the second veggie bed to the left, and the first veggie bed with the radishes to the right. in the middle is a wild cherry tree and a sickly looking rhododendron bush.

the picture below is a bug I found, I looked them up, and it's Cercopis vulnerata, the black-and-red froghopper. apparently they are one of the best jumpers among the animals, they can jump 70cm / 27 inches high out of their resting position, which is pretty sick for an animal that is less than a cm long!

there were also some cute snails.
