I used to say—I used to believe—that pizza was proof of god's existence, and even more importantly, cold pizza was proof of god's love. In the absence of a demiurge, I think it's remarkable that there are still things in the world that convincingly pass as relics of a bygone benevolent divinity

Much in the same theory as the saying that beer is proof that God exists and furthermore loves humanity.
I'm very fond of the (possibly apocryphal) Ben Franklinism, "X is evidence that G-d loves us and wants us to be happy."
