my first compost entry, for COMPOST #4! (i got stuck on my #3 entry halfway through and bailed on it...

while writing this, i was picturing frosting a cake so large that you would have to climb a step or two up a ladder in order to frost the next layer. the music layers with the cake, getting more precarious with each step!
other thoughts:
- took me more like 3-4(?) hours to make this? this is maybe the 5th or 6th composition i've ever made and i'm very sloooow at it still
- this feels like video game background music to me (shocker that i would have made such a thing)
- i feel like i'm pushing up against the limits of garageband ios (infuriating that i couldn't increase the tempo midway through) but also, ableton and logic scare me
- big fan of the grace notes, and the clarinet line in the bridge, if i may compliment myself
- this is cream cheese frosting. none of that nasty buttercream stuff.
