finally sinking in that I've spent the last 5 months effectively teaching a college course (I've been teaching my coworkers how to program in R nearly every week since October). it's the biggest workforce development initiative we've pretty much ever done at my organization and I did it basically all on my own (sans some moral and minor logistic support) with literally no background in teaching. what possessed me to do this? great question
