whats even the downside how are they still putting this in devices in the 20's ??

and then i turned on airplane mode and now i have to charge it like maybe once a week, AND it cant talk to amazon.
the wifi was eating lots of power it seems, AND the poor thing was probably also probably tuckering itself out trying to connect to 3g networks that no longer exist because its THAT old
plus like there is literally no reason for it to be connected to the internet. i only read drm-less ebooks and ao3 downloads of horny plant petplay fics so theres no reason for it to talk to andyzon in the first place. like i have usb cables for putting stuff onto it
the only feature i kinda like that this rules me out of is wikipedia lookups i guess, but those are not actually all that useful when reading, and the dictionary feature is honestly good enough for most unfamiliar words anyways and works offline
