observation: when i get intrusive thoughts, i react to them like if you strained a muscle, and your reaction is to clench it, which only makes it even worse. i cling onto the thought, circle it, try desperately to prove its not true, instead of simply letting it go, unclenching it, and in doing so, only reinforce the thought, just like clenching a strained muscle worsens the injury

A bit of dangerous magic. I blasted my own mind, and felt those thoughts turn to ash. It hurt a bit, and got hard to think. Ferocia (my headmate) healed the damage I did, and I felt the empty space in my mind fill back up with something fresh and new.

Not sure that's something I can recommend doing >.>
