whatever i'm just going to use google doc because it's in the browser and so my dark reader affects it which makes it automatically the least bad option except i've seen how now they've added a bunch of llm features to it that tell you that your writing is incorrect and gives worse suggestions but it can't be as bad as dealing with john grubber's and tim burner lees hatred of whitespace

weird suggestion but you might have a better time with https://typst.app. it's basically a modern latex alternative that doesnt suck, and the web version has a surprisingly big overlap with google drives features (collaborating, online saving, offline support and well, being a document editor) and super easy to get into. and it has native dark mode (under view > theme in the top bar), you can bring your own fonts, its open source and has not a single LLM integration. id give it a shot, might be your cup of tea!

Oh lol, maybe with WINE but yeah most likely not.

Also I thought GDocs did have comic sans? I know you can add anything from the Google Fonts repository to your list of fonts, plus some others they don't make available for download. I know they have Comic Neue on the GFonts repository.
