i have attatched a milk crate to my bike rack and im SO EXCITED to be one of those cool girls with a milk crate on their bike. im SICK and TIRED of my stupid side-mounting big ugly floppy awkward yellow panier bag i have to bring inside the store with me in case it gets stolen and its expensive to replace. milk crate can just stay on my bike AND it's gonna be easier to put groceries in.

this used cannot be an option because i used to use a ulock and i had to makeshift-mount the ulock on top of my bike rack because i have a step-through bike and so there's no place to mount a u lock. but since i swapped to a chonky chain lock which can just wrap around my seat post.

i have always had such gender envy of cool queerstrange trans girls with a milk crate on their bike and now I'M the cool queerstrange trans girl with a milk cray on its bike

NO MORE SHOVING THEN IN A BAG AND FORGETTING ABOUT THEM WHEN I GET HOME BECAUSE NO OBJECT%PERMANENT YA

PS SIMILAR WITH GROCERIES/leftovers I OFTEN FORGET to take them out of the stupid floppy side bag when i get home which is a problem if they are perishable but the milk crate keeps everything in the open where i can see it and remember that it exists

in reply to @spiders's post:

ya the way we use our side baggy is it's locked to our bike and holds our like. Mom Van supplies so like things to clean hands with, snacks, long rifles, ammunition, lumber, mints, toothbrush, gloves, and rain gear

and then our basket or shoulder bag in basket holds all the other stuffs

i edited the message u replied to with other information but

i use a front rack that doesn't have sides so i can strap more to it, and then i have a soft box I can strap to it to turn it into a basket in the front. on the back I have a smaller crate like thing
