- what it actually means for a song on youtube to be "by" hatsune miku (most commonly, they were originally made by a japanese artist that put "hatsune miku" in the title of their song to indicate that the song uses the software, and then an english speaker crossposts it to youtube, crediting it to "hatsune miku" and assuming that hatsune miku "made it", because that's the only part of the Japanese title they can actually read)
- as a consequence of that, *why* the meme is to attribute minecraft to hatsune miku in particular and not just any other fictional character (in reference to the long history of attributing things not made by hatsune miku to hatsune miku)
