people who seriously think electric cars are quieter then gasoline cars are fucking detached from reality
they are so fucking loud, and for most cars (setting aside the ones with extremely loud rumbly/growly engines owned by the terminally car brained), the sound of the engine is basically a rounding error when compared with the real source of car noise: tires on the road. the sound of tires on road, tires on gravel, tires in rain, it destroys me mentally, and is almost always the much louder component of car noise
but also i find those fake sounds that electric cars emit when traveling at ""low"" (see: still life-threatening and city-destroying) speeds EXTREMELY irritating as well
just. ghhhggggghghghghhghhhggg bark bark BARK
i hate cars.
and i hate electric cars most of all, because people think they are good, or a solution, or the "better" kind of kiwen ike when they aren't
