man fuck discord, what an evil company. i dont have anything smart or insightful to say but it just fucking blows that they basically just have like a monopoly on communication (or share one with a few other walled communication gardens). it sucks that this one unaccountable company can, and have in the past, just on a whim cut me off from basically my entire social circle, for whatever petty reasons they want, with no recourse
ps: please dont reccomend matrix or whatever else "alternative" to me, i rly dont care and i dont want to hear about it, ive tried it and it just does not work for me practically speaking, for a huge number of reasons
