i know that's only 5 waiting per copy but it still feels like so much (and anyways that's still a long wait time assuming 4 weeks per person)
and actually i've found this is generally true. a popular book will often be extremely hard to get at seattle public library but have copies ready for pickup that same day at king county library.
and if you live in Seattle, you are eligible for a king county library card!

also i've honestly found that king county library system has a bigger, more varied selection of books in general. in my experience they tend to have a lot of books that seattle public library doesn't even have a single copy of
