drives me up a fucking wall when stuff anglicizes east asian names so that the family name is last
it would still bother me but less so if that was just how it was always done 100% of the time in english, but it's the inconsistency that really gets to me. sometimes the original order is maintained and other times it is flipped backwards and it just results in so much mental overhead for me to try to figure out which order they've printed the name as in the book or subtitles or page or whatever i'm reading
