virtual pinball tables should incorporate things like No-clip Multiball, really embrace the digital fakeness, where certain obstacles just pass through differently tinted balls; or certain balls are tied to bigger bonuses (this red ball gets 3x action on bumpers; this green ball makes spinners count in 4x time); or this black ball can't go on ramps and just phases through them.
Like I know half the challenge is verisimilitude on these sims, you want it feeling "real" but why not make the Hearthstone of pinball if you're gonna make pinball, lean in to the things you couldn't do on a real table?
