Garindan, also called Long-Snoot, was a Kubaz who was considered to be the "greatest spy in Mos Eisley spaceport."

He was probably the greatest spy in Mos Eisley spaceport because he blended in so well. You’d never notice this guy following you. Doesn’t stand out at all

there was a sad "roll to do a thing" choose your own adventure-ish YA single-player RPG "star wars missions", sold through the scholastic catalog, and the 6th or 7th mission you got to play as bounty hunters instead of the Rebels like Mon Mothma or Wedge Antilles (for real. those were the picks for the first couple books. not the core cast. Wedge and then-having-done-nothing-but-announce-dead-bothans Mon Mothma. cmon man.) to rescue Grubba the Hutt, Jabba's nephew (a plot more or less wholly recycled in the 2008 Clone Wars movie. cmon man [@ filoni].); and this was the guy you got to play as. Not Bossk or IG88. Garindan.

i truly can't believe i talked my mom into spending $9.99 per month (first month was $20; it came with a d12 and a vacuum-formed darth vader briefcase) for over half a year so i could play my star wars ttrpg alone, as Garindan.

god the story outcome couldn't even fork because the next book just happened regardless of what you did. what a bad premise for a product.
