it dirty (presumably due to years spent in some warehouse or recycling center, before some guy decided to sell 250 of them on ebay)

at least there are only 2 stickers, most are way worse than this

I'm pretty sure I have this exact guitar and I've been wanting to use it on something other than my Wii, this is looking really nice so far! also, was the strum bar always powered by keyboard switches?

originally they used generic simplified Alps clones. they’re pretty bad and in 15 year old hardware they’re usually either completely dead or develop one of several issues. most modded guitars use kailh box switches now

in reply to @spitfire's post:

and that’s not all, a new version of the firmware (currently WIP) has automatic console detection, bluetooth support, and USB host mode (plug in any controller via a USB hub and it’ll convert it to any other console). and also auth passthrough, which means it can be used on stock x360/xbone/ps4 as long as any official controller is plugged in.
Sanjay (the developer) is without a doubt on some higher plane of existence and we are not worthy of his blessings

it really doesn’t matter too much which guitar you use, and none of them are really cheap anymore, lol.
many people prefer the Wii LP for its shape and size.
after they’re modded there’s almost no difference between the models
