i'm making some real progress with my cursive, and it's affecting the legibility of my print handwriting too. starting to think the olds might have been on to something...
You're the only other person i know to have taught themselves cursive as an adult, i did when i was eighteen. Previously i wrote in smallcaps, something i notice olds tend to do as well. I still print only in caps but it became more of a comic book lettering style after i learnt cursive.
i technically learned it in grade school, but i've never used it in any capacity since then. i'm more or less re-learning it, hahah
Cursive never really took for me no matter how they tried, so I compromised by teaching myself a really handsome print hand as an adult
This book is pretty good at starting with block letters and getting increasingly decorative in small steps, all the way to blackletter if you want to go that far. The fucking rArE bOOkS parasites inflate the price but I think you can find it on archive dot org
