Having the sufficient media to eschew streaming would require a sizeable investment into local infrastructure (jellyfin server, drives) that are no doubt cheaper in the long run. I guess the only thing I would miss is that most pirated stuff doesn't include CC subtitled and audio description includes in the file itself.
