i know everyone thinks bots are the thing killing tf2 but it's not. it's the lack of any moderation, period. you can put any slur you want on a tf2 weapon name with no problem and force other people to see it. why is that acceptable in any capacity?? it wouldn't even take paying real people! put a word filter on it! fuckin hell

it sucks balls but i dont think its killing it really, same with most arena shooters i think people either are awful bigots or just get used to there being lots of those around, that's how it's been for like years i think and i dont really see too many people that end up stopping playing because of it
i mean, i did quit last night. :V i won't be going back to "live" tf2 until the bare minimum has been done and i don't have to worry about seeing slurs that valve made money on to put in place. i play games to have fun and feel good and that kind of thing blows it for me. it shouldn't even be a problem in the first place. i'll be playing TF2 Classic, which doesn't have named weapons to begin with and only has community servers, most of which are typically well-moderated V:
