everybody is trying to convince your meemaw to convert her savings into gold she'll never physically hold (and will lose value if she tries to back out, and costs her monthly storage fees), or will her house to some corporation when she dies, or sell her life insurance policy (but she got a check for 15% of it's payout so it's fine) or get life insurance so she can sell it to those other guys. and soooo much of that emotionally manipulative charity stuff. y'all are worried about indian scammers? we got our own systems for draining the elderly of their family's generational wealth right here in the US.
