i've been a furry for over 15 years now. it's no exaggeration to say that FA saved me. i was a scared, lonely, depressed, queer teen stuck in the religious-conservative crucible of southern Utah. but FA helped me find a community, an identity, friends, love. i made friends 15 years ago in FA's IRC channel who i still talk to regularly today. it's hard to say where i'd be now if dragoneer hadn't been there keeping it kind of steady all these years. it's the best thing we have. i'm pourin one out for him tonight.
