- nice quick show tonight. excited to see the rookie tournament matches!
- TJPW Nextgen Tournament - HIMAWARI v Shino Suzuki: a surprisingly grounded affair from these two. Shino is still very green1 but she's got solid fundamentals and she showed she's got a second gear here. fun match!
- TJPW Nextgen Tournament - Wakana Uehara v Toga: Wakana's still putting it all together but just from the things she's attempting in the ring it's clear she's very ambitious. i can only see her stock going up. Toga felt pretty reserved in this match, made it a lot more even than i was expecting.
- Hyper Misao/Mahiro Kiryu/Haru Kazashiro v Yuki Aino/Raku/Pom Harajuku: this match is a certified Teej Special. the front half is all shenanigans and then at some point Yuki Aino decides to throw out a big deadlift gutwrench suplex and it's all pro graps from there. rollup sequence from Haru was something new and fun. the rookies are good!
- Free WiFi (Hikari Noa/Nao Kakuta) v Yuki Kamifuku/Runa Okubo: love to see Free WiFi with those titles. don't know how i feel about the new gear. Runa looked great in this match! definitely felt like the most confident rookie tonight.
- The Genius Girl, The Idol, The Young Legend, The Five Tool Slayer, The Dragon of Kyoto, The Last AA Gun, Yuki Arai2/Suzume/Arisu Endo v Moka Miyamoto/Juria Nagano/Kaya Toribami: calling these two teams Yuki Daisy Monkey and A Cassowary Will Kick You To Death. a little bit loose, but let's be real, it was filler.
- Magical Sugar Rabbits (Mizuki/Yuka Sakazaki) v Hakuchumu (Miu Watanabe/Rika Tatsumi): Big Zuke in the blue gear ;_; Yuka starts throwing live rounds halfway through this and the tenor of the whole thing changes. if she's leaving TJPW to go to AEW and get treated like Riho and Shida and Emi i'm going to put a curse on Tony Khan. Miu Watanabe is must watch. weird time limit draw? run that shit back.
- International Princess Championship Match - The 147cm Big Kaiju, Shoko Nakajima v The Nonbinary Nightmare, Max the Impaler: i love a big guy/little guy match and this fuckin' ripped. seriously gutsy performance from Shoko Nakajima, she got beat to hell. Max deserves all of their success and more.
- i love Pom and Max
- definitely one of those in between shows, but i'm seriously always impressed with the quality of TJPW cards. rarely a stinker.
