one of the middle class privilege things i have that always throws me for a loop is people getting glasses online, my brain is always initially confused that people don't just go to their eye doctor and get a new pair and i have to walk it back lmao

I'm double bad on this because I get my prescription from one place and my actual glasses from a different place lol
yeah...my experience last time i wanted new glasses was i went to the eye doctors, told the optician what i was looking for, tried some pairs on, didn't find anything because limited vibe options and i wear a pretty wide size, and then like three months later she gave me a call with "one of my reps sent in a pair that i think you'll love", she was right, and insurance covered the whole thing >.>
yea I'm lucky enough to currently have work insurance that covers frames, which has been pretty rare for me so I'm taking full advantage of it lol
hellll yeah do it up!! if the insurance money is gonna go away might as well get a spare pair etc, idk how your vision is but for me if i broke my glasses and couldn't use them i'd be completely toast
I can live without them but I absolutely can't legally drive without them lmao
yeah that sounds. suboptimal in most places in canada
