it's a little bit fucked up how good music is, both as a concept and as specific instantiations of that concept

it's wild that we as a species figured out eons ago that we could encode emotion into sound waves and we've just been getting better at it continuously ever since and it's not considered every bit the pinnacle of technological achievement as the internet or space rockets
