In the process of verifying that the zippo axe saw exists, I also discovered that:

  • They sell (but have discontinued) a gadsden flag lighter, the listing for which indicates that "don't tread on me" is a registered trademark
  • This isn't Zippo's trademark, it's licensed from an unrelated cigar accessory company that makes thin blue line humidors
  • Zippo also sells paracord that's designed specifically to be flammable? I did not know that was a thing

since it's very common tor folks to finish cut paracord ends by melting them with a lighter, it seems like that could potentially cause...problems?

Zippo also makes what might be my favorite product of theirs, which is a catalytic naphtha powered hand warmer. You light it with fire, and then went preheats enough it has probably platinum fibers woven into some kind of wick, which then act as a catalyst.
