i'm still mad about my insurance
it should be illegal for health insurance to decide to not cover something, period. if my doctor prescribed me medication you should have to cover it.
I am going to go to the grave mad about what my current insurance has either outright refused to cover or strongarmed me into filling at walgreen's instead of supporting a local independent pharmacy. I have never forgiven my previous health insurance for refusing to cover my ADHD meds, which put me in a pit it took me four goddamn years to dig out of. I haven't gotten an eye exam or gone to a dentist in years because some-fucking-how those aren't part of "health care".
No rulebook or committee or board of trustees should get that much say in the basic shit we need to survive.
I get my insurance thru my employer, which means I have to use their pharmacy or my meds aren't covered. They are consistently several days late to fill my meds, even if I give them as much notice as I possibly can. This leads to me getting sick when I shouldn't have to be and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it. Unless of course I want to try going to another pharmacy and end up paying out of pocket.
