trying to decide what sort of furniture makes sense to get for my room first. I decided a storage ottoman and an over the door plushie organizer was best to get first. these don't require me to make room for them and having them will help me with cleaning up (I still need to clean up around my bed but don't have a good place to store extra stuffed animals that I wish to keep)

I think the next best thing would be an actual nightstand (instead of a folding TV tray that I use now) and a cube organizer. Once I get mostly everything organized I do want some new furniture furniture. I would like to get a folding table that I can keep when I need extra surface space to do crafts or other things. I also saw a floor chair that would be nice to have when I need an extra seat besides the office chair. It can fold up like a chair or flat on the floor. It looks like it would be easy to store when I am not using it since you can lay it flat. I looked at the saucer chairs but idk how much range of arm movement you have in those? and it would be nice if I can still knit/crochet while sitting

I am also going to pick up a huge crochet hook today. I saw a crochet pattern for making rugs using 5 strands held together of worsted weight yarn. This uses up a bunch of my currently unloved yarns +
I can make a bunch of rugs for almost nothing instead of having to buy some. I kinda want to replace our carpets entirely in the living room and bedrooms at some point, but that's not doable right now, so at least I can cover up the ugly spots with a fun and easily washable carpet for now.

I absolutely do not recommend trying to knit in a papasan or butterfly chair! It will fuck up your back in new and exciting ways that you will not realize are related for several days as they creep up on you, at least if your back and sitting posture are anything like mine.
