so. there is a fairly popular knitting website called MDK, Modern Day Knitting
but it wasn't always called this. It used to be Mason Dixon Knitting. Yep.
anyways they changed the name several years back, but it's always whiplash to look at old patterns/websites and see them refer to it as Mason Dixon Knitting.

ohhh I think I saw them rocking the old name at a local fiber arts festival this weekend and was like “????”
my bad, they weren't exhibiting under that name, it was just some booth that carried the book they published before they changed the name
Okay that would make more sense! I thought they were pretty upfront with explaining why they made the name change, so I thought it would be weird for them to go back on it.
