Ooyama/Dr. Ooyama's card artwork really speaks to me. A lot of it is exclusive to the Japanese Vending Machine cards, but it has a real energy to it because Ooyama is one of the original designers of the TCG and it's based on the doodles he made for prototype cards to test the game in the early stages of its development.
Ooo yeah those ones are really good! That also makes me think of the old cards where if you put them all together they made a picture?

Picture cards are my favourite niche even if their modern form is primarily non-game cards made for those awful ripoff mini tin sets.
