Cohost's #1 Draculaura Stan

my favorite fountain pen broke during cleaning and it's less than $20 to replace (kaweco perkeo) and Goulet pens is the first page that I see come up that still carries it
Then I see they went back to carrying Noodler's ink and uhhh nevermind. Actually -- the only place I could find it that doesn't also sell Noodler's ink is Atlas Stationers, so I guess I'll get it from there

for those not into fountain pens, or not in the loop, last year Noodler's got called out for having antisemitic imagery on several of their ink bottles. As it grew attention, other issues with the person behind the company came up including just some off putting names for inks, him being anti mask, and him very likely being an insurrection supporter. Goulet pens stopped carrying the inks for a short while but apparently started carrying them again after the guy behind Noodler's "apologized" and changed the ink names and imagery on the offending inks. the fountain pen or hobby drama subreddits have better, in depth write ups about this if you are interested in reading a better explanation

Ah, well, this is one of those points where the needs of a store to supply its customers' demands override any moral stance they want to take. Not that they need to host the company's inks, but... money speaks. And they don't want to risk an exodus/bleeding customers to competing sites for not selling Noodlers especially since it's one of the most popular ink brands. I don't really see the purpose in avoiding specific retailers rather than just not supporting the ink company itself. I mean, are there even any hobbyist pen shops that don't carry Noodlers?
