up in the middle of the night (I plan to try and lay back down eventually)
realizing how sensitive I am to indoor humidity.
i bought a temp/humidity gauge. i had some mold growth on my walls where I used to run my humidifier. i think this was brought on by a steam vaporizer which ran way too strongly and had no way to adjust it. i now use a regular cool mist humidifier with an adjustable dial.
I hadn't been running the humidifier in my room for a couple days while I got an idea of how the humidity in my room changes through the day (old, kinda drafty house, my room has two big windows). The night before last I was like "it doesn't say dry on this gauge, but I feel dry" however I was too tired to get up and clean and get the humidifier set up at that moment. so I just went to bed. But hhh I woke up yesterday with dry nose and dry lips. sure enough when I got home from work and checked the humidity in my room, it was now reading low.
i have the humidifier set up again and running on low. humidity in my room is now back in a normal range but wehh I still feel so dry :(
