getting our new stairs delivered tomorrow but I'm feeling really off about it. they were going to deliver them last week, but the day they picked didn't work and I told them I would call back to reschedule. called Monday and got voicemail, asked if we can have a delivery done Thursday. didn't get a call back at all, so I called today to follow up and they were already planning to be here tomorrow without like.. calling me back to let me know?
I am also waiting until I get the final bill, but I might have to reopen my GoFundMe for it because some things had to be changed from my original order. I already know it is going to be a couple hundred more than I was originally quoted, but I won't know the actual total until the bill is in my hands tomorrow.

I'm hoping after this is done I won't have to do anything else major with the house for a few months so I can try and save money for the next disaster but it all sucks. I am trying to finish paying off the hot water heater and the rest of the vet bills as soon as possible and then I am going to try being a bit aggressive with saving.. at least as much as I can. I'm still getting less hours at work than I used to and I don't think that is changing anytime soon unfortunately. i am just glad that I am poor enough that I won't have to pay anything on my student loans lmfao

At least after this, I can't think of any major things we would need to do unless there is a crazy emergency. The stairs and hot water heater were things we kinda knew we had to replace for a bit, but just didn't have the money to replace them until it was absolutely necessary. We were very fortunate and qualified for our roof to be replaced for free in 2020, so i dont have to worry about that. And our yearly heater inspection went well! We have some major appliances that I wouldn't be surprised if they need to be replaced in the next few years, but thankfully they are all still holding up well enough that I should be able to save up before they need to be replaced.
