external links are a great part of cohost and they've enabled some dumb shenanigans. for example this spongebob img was initially in a post so everyone on the site could see it.
but asks are targeted. someone who sends an external link in an ask knows the first person who's going to see that link is their target.
I've opened a support ticket about this issue

stared at this for five minutes like "wow i cant believe this user lives in the same area as me"
Glad I wasn't the only one. Like I know we can use external images here, I just assume no one does.
