My flytraps seem to be doing pretty well lately. I had a pretty long spell of depression that stopped my from going outside much, and these guys got pretty neglected. But they're resilient (it also raining a good amount during that period) and stuck it out while exploding with new growth.
I really enjoy collecting different cultivars, but I'm cautious about going on another shopping spree and having to move even more plants the next time we move again.
I have a couple of mini bogs that I'm going to need to re-do in the spring. A squirrel attack and erosion have them in not-the-best shape. Plus the pitcher plants are crazy expanding and blocking the sun from the generic fly traps I put in there with them.
Life changing decision: adding live sphagnum moss to the tops of the fly trap pots to counter erosion from heavy rains.
