I figure this is probably the most ethical way to watch the fnaf movie besides pirating (which I also think is ethical btw). I also have the Mario Movie and Beetlejuice on hold, but they weren't ready to pick up today.
Watched Willy's Wonderland and Friday the 13 Part 1 the other day. Both of these movies I went into as blind as possible (mini reviews here are mostly spoiler free)
- Willy's Wonderland: Fun. I knew Nic Cage was in it and he wallops on the animatronics, but that was it. The jump back and forth between a somewhat serious plot set up and then the sillies of the rest of the movie kept me interested the whole time. I did not find this movie scary at all, nor do I think most people would find it scary. I wish the animatronics were featured more prominently/had more of a story to them, as that was actually what I was watching the movie,,, but I think I might be an outlier there. 4/5 Would watch again around Halloween.
- Friday the 13th: I knew what the plot twist of this movie was and that it takes place at a camp, but that was about it. I did kinda pull the "Man who has only seen Baby Movie" as I found myself comparing it a lot to Halloween. People die throughout the movie, but the pacing still feels very slow and most of the tense action happens in the last 15 minutes or so. 3/5. I was interested enough to want to see the second part, because I want to actual see Jason in slightly more action, but I don't think I would be the person to pick to watch this again, even for Halloween.
