I am fishing to see if people here would be interested in making a Cohost Webring for our personal sites?
It seems like we have a decent amount of people here who do neocities/nekoweb/personal websites
Would we be interested in making a Cohost webring? Main requirements would be 1.) You are a cohost user :u 2.) Your website is more than just a main page + links to your other sites/socials (WIP sites are more than okay).
I guess drop a comment or even a like if it is something your are interested in. If there is a couple people I can make a discord chat or find some other way for us to keep in touch.
I would have to sit and look at my current web rings to see what I want for full rules but it would probably be something like
1.) Must be a co-host user (obvs)
2.) Website needs to be more than just an index page and links to other websites. I would prefer more than just an about page too, but I may not be that picky on that. I just don't want people trying to use their carrd?
3.) Web ring wouldn't be age redistricted. Websites containing 18+ content can join, but need to have a splash page of some sort warning of website contents.
4.) Websites that contain excessive flashing/eyestrain should also have a splash page warning of such.
5.) Don't be a hate website, nft shill, or something genuinely harmful (anti vaxx or something silly). Not something I really think will be a concern here lol, but ya know
6.) I don't have requirements for activity nor do I think I would have the time to care about monitoring stuff like that.
