Draculaura
Cohost's #1 Draculaura Stan

someone has been offloading their yarn stash on my aunt, who is then sending it to my mom and me. A lot of times it is stuff I don't really want, so I have been donating what is in good condition at least. I already have enough yarn and really only want to add what I need for a current project or something that is really nice
and well today I think I found something very nice. 15 balls of 80% cotton 20% angora. Unfortunately the ones on the bag are a different dye lot than the ones in the bag and I think you can tell. (It could also be the bag, but I'd rather not open the bag until I go to use them). I probably can make up for it by alternating rows tho.
Going to browse Ravelry for some patterns, but I probably won't start anything else until I finish my current blanket. Just wanted to share a good find!

That's one expensive blast from the past! I remember when all us knitters were chasing after Debbie Bliss yarn. This one might shed a lot depending on what mill it came out of (Italy=bad, Peru=good), and it got discontinued in 2010 over some of that, so watch for that. Even so, enjoy knitting/crocheting it up!

There was been a lot of expensive yarn in this collection. I am almost certain all this yarn is coming from the same person. I'll take pics another day, but in the last batch I got a whole bunch of old discontinued Noro. It's really textured and unique (even for noro). I am not the biggest Noro fan and idk what to do with it. I was holding onto it to try out some funky weaving one day. If I end up having to remove it to make space for something else I want more, I will probably donate them to the knitting/crochet group at the library.
I was reading the Ravelry comments and was soooo scared, but I am lucky and these are the Peru ones 😁
