I am new to watercolor painting. Can I ask, do you line your work before or after you paint it? And also what do you use for lining? Thank you! :]
Thank you so much! <3 Sometimes I just freestyle with paint first, and then use fineliners afterwards to give the drawing detail. But for this and other more difficult drawings I usually do pencil lines/sketch first, then I do proper lines with fineliners after I have painted! I use Sakura Micron fineliner pens specifically, got them as a gift and they've served me well, but any fineliner would do the job I think. I still feel pretty new to watercolours tbh, so maybe there's better ways of going about things but this works well for me. :> I hope you enjoy watercolours, it is so so much fun! (* ´ ▽ ` *)
