thaumcraft's warp mechanic is actually a real thing. you can gain Permanent Warp by studying the command prompt that opens for a split second and then immediately closes when you boot up your windows install. your mind will be irreparably distorted by the knowledge of what it does and you will never be quite the same person you were before
