You know. I was just thinking... I don't think there's anything you can do in Canva which you can't do in PowerPoint.

Realizing this bc my mom wanted help with a graphic a nonprofit she volunteers for wanted for Facebook and her draft was in powerpoint and like. Yeah. Fuck it. There's no reason not to just do it in PowerPoint. PowerPoint is the most universal lowest common denominator of graphic design tools. Both college kids and old people are unafraid of approaching powerpoint to do the literal same things I would do in Figma or canva. It can export pdfs and high res pngs. And it's arguably way easier to make a specific custom gradient in PowerPoint than Canva. Fuck it just use PowerPoint

Yeah absolutely And Also you don't even need OBS... powerpoint can screen record on its own. Click the Record tab, then Screen recording.... AND it can export video of course too (file, export, create a video) - so if automate the timings on the slide transitions and stuff you can absolutely just use it as a video editor.
