physical distribution is an important component here, but it has to fuck. vinyl fucks. print magazines fuck. unfortunately CD-ROM does not fuck, and no physical medium has ever fucked less than USB drives. cartridges fuck, but not the ones that are SD-card-sized. zip drives probably fucked. bring back the zip drive so we can have physical media for pc games that fucks.

what about like really really big QR codes. or magazines with multiple pages of BASIC code you have to manually type in for an hour to get a tiny game with 5 minutes of entertainment value
this is cool but has also made me sad to learn that QR codes apparently have a stated maximum size instead of being infinitely extendable

I think if CD fucked we wouldn't be bringing vinyl back. but maybe it's just audio CD that doesn't fuck and CD-ROM can still fuck
yeah that's true, it's not the best for audio, but sometimes i will find like. 10,000 gif files or a set of stock photos on a cd rom in a goodwill, or an iso on archive.org and that is good as hell to me
