WAR IN SUDAN - one of the worst humanitarian crises in recent history, and only getting worse.
12,000+ KILLED. 5.1 MILLION INTERNALLY DISPLACED, 1.3 MILLION FLED TO NEIGHBORING COUNTRIES, 3 MILLION CHILD REFUGEES, 100 + RAPE CASES, Dramatic increase in sexual violence and reports of gang rape, 25 MILLION PEOPLE in need of humanitarian aid, 65% OF REFUGEES ARE WOMEN, 19 MILLION CHILDREN have lost access to schooling, $100 MILLION cost of WAR.
WAR IN SUDAN - a health crisis inside of a humanitarian crisis.
15-20 MILLION SUFFERING FROM HUNGER, 3.4 MILLION CHILDREN UNDER 5 ACUTELY MALNOURlSHED, 66% TARGETED NUTRITION SUPPLY PROGRAMS NO LONGER OPERATING.
Sudan is one of the TOP 4 hotspots of highest concern for food insecurity according to the Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Food Program.
2/3 OF THE POPULATION do not have access to health care services, 5,414 CHOLERA cases, 170 resulted in death, 70 HEALTH FACILITIES non-operational in conflict zones.
